This poem is about how crazy things have gotten and how dangerous we have made our society. The poem is kind of a warning to us and telling us we need to take more care of our world and the people in it. 

I would use this in a 12th grade english class.This would maybe open some eyes in the high schoolers who read it. I would make them make their own haikus about something they feel strongly about.

be still - do not blink
I can’t wait to remember
this moment with you

one hundred kids drown -
Community is canceled-
what a sad world!

face lit by the screen
empty head, so full of thought
digging for some truth

aimlessly driving
through a beautiful landscape
made **** by roads
