The illustrations are made with many straight lines and squares. The colors are bright with orange being the most vibrant. The artist used watercolors to create this beautiful illustrations.
I would use this book during a lesson where we learn about different cultures. We would compare and contrast the different things we are associated with within our culture. I would use this for an other class around 6th grade so everyone would be able to clearly talk about the different traditions within their family!
