There are many different types of storms! Sandstorms are dusty and dangerous, monsoons are deep and unsanitary. In this book we get the chance to learn of different storms. we learn how they are created, what is the main cause and where certain storms happen most often.
The illustrations in this book are photographs from all over. They show up how bad some storms can get. And the colors on the page pop out as if you are seeing them in person.
I would use this for a First Grade class during science. I would have the children find a current event happening: wherever, they chose in the world. Then we could discuss the different storms they found and the aftermath of everything that happened.
