During Christmas time, elf don’t want to just make toys, they also want to keep them close! Sometimes they keep too many Mr. Elf keeps piling so Manny toys into his bed. With every page you flip though, you begin to wonder if there his be enough room in his little elf bed.
The illustrations in this book consist of like sketches of numerous Christmas objects. Also, the little elf kid made out of felt with a pillow under his head. The color scheme is made up of red, green and white, all which keep the spirit of the holiday in this book!
I chose math as my content area and K-4 to Kindergarten as my grade. I would use this book to count the numbers in order and how many objects the elf had. Then, when we finish the book, we would count all the objects and total the amount.
This is so cute! I am so glad you shared this; it would be great to read with young children before the holiday break. This would be fun, like you said, to use with math and also for students to create artwork in a responsive activity to the reading.
